“Together We Can Take On The World”
GrowthFunders’ very own Craig and Norman attended their first Entrepreneurs’ Forum Annual Business Conference as Corporate Sponsors. Held at Gateshead’s BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, this year’s lineup were as varied as they come:
Caprice Bourret. This highly-successful reality TV star and model-turned-businesswomen now designs, models, and markets her very own lingerie range at “By Caprice Products”.
Kresse Wesling MBE. As co-founder of Elvis & Kresse, a highly-innovative fashion accessories company, Kresse has built her business on changing perceptions. Everything Elvis & Kresse create, from bags to belts and wallets, are made from...decommissioned and reclaimed fire hoses. That’s right - they turn something once destined for the dump into highly-sought after fashion statements.
Being a serial entrepreneur, Paul Shoker has experienced every possible high and low associated with the sector. Coupling this with his background in communications and media was the next logical step and so VentureFund, a social online platform for start ups, was born.
Sir Tom Shebbeare. Prior to becoming Chairman of Richard Branson’s Virgin StartUp, Sir Tom was The Prince’s Trust’s first full-time Director and subsequently, Chief Executive. He is also an experienced Non-Executive Director and Council member of The Leadership Agency.
Anthony Thomson. When Metro Bank PLC was granted its license by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), it made history as the first high-street bank to be granted such a licence for over 150 years. He is now looking to launch Atom Bank, a new completely digital form of banking.
