Get involved and pitch at Venturefest
Preparations are firmly under way for the 12th annual Venturefest Yorkshire conference, which will take place March 12th 2015. Billed as “THE business creation networking event of the year”, Venturefest is the place to be if you’re running your own revolutionary or disruptive start up business.
Not only does the event offer some fantastic networking opportunities (with experienced entrepreneurs and influential investors, alike) but it also plays host to the Investment Competition, which Growthfunders are delighted to be a part of.
Start up entrepreneurs, like you, who have founded fantastic businesses with high growth potential are being invited to pitch their business to a room full of international and regional investors with the chance to both attract investment and win a £50,000 prize package.
As well as presenting to potential investors at the event at York Racecourse, competition finalists will be given the opportunity to list their business here on the GrowthFunders platform and raise seed capital for their start up.
We have a rapidly-growing user base of more than 6,000 people throughout the UK and Europe who are actively seeking opportunities to invest in businesses with high growth potential.
That could be your business.
You don’t have to be based in Yorkshire to enter the Investment Competition, we’re just looking for great businesses, across all sectors, which can demonstrate an A grade team, a solution to a problem, and growth potential.
There are a lot of exciting UK start ups around at the moment – is yours one of them?
The competition is fierce; make your submission stand out.
The competition is now closed. The winner of the Venturefest Investment Competition was health food company, UGOT who pitched to perfection on the day.
